Two SLD Projects Shortlisted for the Housing Design Awards 2026

Standerwick Land Design is delighted to announce that Blackwall Reach and Stone Studios have both been shortlisted in the Completed Schemes category at the Housing Design Awards 2026.

The shortlist recognises two completed housing schemes where landscape plays a central role in shaping quality of place, supporting public realm, communal amenity, play, planting, biodiversity and everyday life for residents.

At Blackwall Reach, SLD contributed to the landscape design for a major regeneration project in Tower Hamlets, helping to deliver new residential landscapes and public realm as part of the wider estate transformation.

At Stone Studios in Hackney Wick, SLD supported the creation of a vibrant mixed-use neighbourhood, with courtyard spaces, play, urban greening and biodiversity integrated into the completed scheme.

Stone Studios has also previously been recognised by the Housing Design Awards, winning a 2017 Project Award. Now complete, it returns to the awards shortlist in the Completed Schemes category.
