BOW BRIDGE ESTATE

The scheme formed part of a larger external works regeneration of Poplar's existing housing stock.  Existing residents were involved through extensive consultation held as a series of workshops by the client and design team.  After formulating ideas put forward by the residents; new play facilities, art work, boundary treatment, entrances ways and bespoke seating was designed and delivered. Blakedown Landscape carried out the work on site under a Design and Build Contract and SLD were their retained as consultant. Post completion SLD produced a set of proposals to enhance the bio-diversity of the estate which formed part of a landscape management for a number of estates on Bow Bridge Estate
