Bethnal Green Road
The concept for the free spirit garden at Bethnal Green Road is to maximise light patterns within the courtyard by using art work and fountains which are highly reflective, creating focal features which will amplify the amount of available sunlight in the garden. The project is a residential tower for a high end market, and so the choice of art work needed to meet the high quality expected of this development. The monolith sculpture and portal fountain were chosen to meet this brief and have been designed into the scheme as focal features in a spiral pattern which is based on the golden section, creating an organic shaped green oasis for the residents.
