BURDETT ESTATE

Burdett Estate regeneration is tied in with the new Bow Garden Square development. This is a place that successfully brings together education, faith, housing and the local community. The scheme provides mixed-tenure homes, a brand new primary school and nursery, a sports hall/community centre and a mosque on a tight 4 acre site.  During development and planning of the new build, extensive consultation with local residents was carried out  by Poplar HARCA and coordinated with London Borough of Tower Hamlets.  The existing estate was revamped with a new square, play facilities and integrated artwork.
