Blackhorse View - Integrating history into the site

Preserving history and cultural significance is a key factor of adding social value to a project. At Black Horse View we have references to the history of the site within bespoke paving slabs forming part of the overall play strategy. SLD undertook research to identify local listed buildings associated alongside Walthamstow Wetlands and incorporated images engraved in stope set in paving and paving as part of a historic play trail.
