Burdett Estate - Creative Carvings Poplar

Using trees that had been felled from the site Poplar Harca along with SLD commissioned a local tree artist. SLD located the carved wooden bench in the play space within the new park in Burdett Estate, Integrating play and art with nature has been shown to reduce anxiety and stress within young children.  By reusing this fallen tree and changing it into a playful creative bench we are adding social value to the scheme but also improving the quality of life of the inhabitants.
